1. Run install.bat as ADMINISTRATOR. This will install all the dependencies and update alterMW3.
2. Run alterMW3.exe as ADMINISTRATOR and login with your alteriw.net forum account to play!
Notes:
• This is BETA software, so server can be down at anytime
• If you are stuck on "Connecting to online services", or see any steam related errors, the server is likely down
• If you get an error about a procedure entry point missing from tier0_s.dll, just ignore it and press OK
• If you are running Windows XP or below, install this patch viewtopic.php?f=140&t=106252
• This only contains the MP files, so you cannot play single player or spec ops
• If you get errors while installing the dependencies, just go inside the "redist" folder, and run vcredist_x86.exe and "DXSETUP.exe" (in DirectX folder) manually.
I would like to thank Xetal for his SP remover, which cuts the total size by 4.8 GB.
This is for people with download caps or have very slow internet. if you have decent internet (4 Mbit/s or more), it is strongly recommended to download the full game directly from steam, which is much faster.

By applying this plug-in, users can benefit from Webkit engine capabilities and, at the same time, do not loose the opportunity of using Internet Explorer interface. To make this interesting solution work, an appropriate "meta name" has to be implemented into the head section of the visited page.
In accordance with that, our template contains an appropriate option in its settings that helps the user to switch the meta name in the head section, so that all IE users that have Google Chrome Frame plug-in installed will be able to see the web site along with all facilities offered by Webkit rendering engine.
